STRESS
A structural simulation is a digitally rendered stress analysis, utilizing finite element analysis (FEA) to determine the stresses and deflections that a design undergoes in a given environment under real loading conditions. Using the CAD data, it combines the geometry, boundary conditions, materials and the loads such as external forces, moments, displacements and accelerations to calculate the strain and stress from a system and subsystems since linear or nonlinear point of view.
